Most well-meaning,
ambitious dieters try to lose weight by drastically reducing their consumption
of food. If you don’t eat you
lose weight. Right?

in. I know from experience. I have reduced my calories so much that I slowed down my metabolism
so much that if I ate anything considered "bad" I would gain weight
because I couldn't burn it off. It goes without saying that I had no
energy during this time. I am sure you’ve seen someone, or maybe you are that someone, who
didn’t eat but once a day and still didn’t lose weight.
Then when they gave up and started eating again, they gained more weight.
The best way to lose weight
is to eat more often and smaller meals. Just
eat the right foods and the right portions. You should be eating at least 4-6
small meals a day, preferably more but it is not always possible.
Eat every 2-4 hours. This
keeps your metabolism firing on all cylinders and you will be able to consume
more calories and still lose weight. Your
cravings will also not be as strong to cheat since you will be eating more
often.
