Breaking The
Plateau
So you are doing great and the
pounds are flying of faster than you can count. You are wondering when it is going to stop just like all your
other weight loss ventures. Finally
you hit a plateau and you are ready to quit.
Well don’t fret this happens to all of us. It’s your body’s natural survival mechanism kicking in.
You have adapted to your diet. This
means something needs to be done to shock your body in a good way.
There are several ways to do this. You
could have a planned cheat meal. I
know this sounds very appetizing. You
are probably wondering, “How is cheating going to help me lose more weight?”
Well, my friend, cheating will shock your metabolism and cause it to work
harder. The cheat meal is only a
temporary solution. It should only be done every few weeks. After you have a cheat meal, the next week cut down your
calories by 100 or 200. It depends
on how you feel. Keep plowing
through the plateau and remember if it was that easy everyone would do it.
It’s a lifestyle change not just a diet.
